Somewhere near the 51st constellation, year 2010 – I have to declare I have today been crushed by loneliness. Fortunately I had a conversation about deep considerations over life and the good reasons to be alive and be still working out good ways to see happiness through a lens of weaknesses and hopes! I wrote something about “solitude vs. loneliness” in June 19th, 2009. I wrote [...] There is a time to live. My friend is dying. Slowly vanishing, slowly timing out. … it is what I am seeking but not finding. The perfect combination of wisdom and beauty is pure utopia. It would be great to have nearby someone much capable of not letting you get into the conclusion that you are a loser surrounded by losers. Those who are able of running frequent introspection exercises (actually, I don’t know many!) for watching themselves and reply [...] Fifty! What can be said about this? As far I know, whatever we may say will be nothing that can be taken as an absolute truth or even be taken as something interesting. It will depend, of course, on who you are, where are you coming from and where are you going to. Definitely, when a man is fifty is already someone over the mid [...] This post is my tribute to number forty-nine! Forty-nine is a relevant number cause is the one right before fifty, which, in principle, is the topmost of the upmost numbers. For a man, of course. May the gods be with me… and with myself! People use to say that a man is only complete and has fulfilled his mission in this world after he contributes for the generation of a child, he writes a book and plants a tree! If we believe on this we are then supposed to realize we achieved the ultimate state of happiness in our life(1) by the time we achieve completeness. In Portugal we celebrate the Father’s Day and the date it’s not the same. Have you got the difference? No? You’re not father probably.
