Bread Soup

In Portuguese: Açorda

Ingredients:

  • 8 thin slices of bread
  • 3 cloves garlíc
  • 1 small bunch of coriander
  • 1 dl olive oil
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

In a soup-tureen mash the garlic cloves with the coriander which has previously been cut fine, together with the salt and olive oil. Add the slices of bread.

Poach the eggs in water and place them immediately in a soup plate. Add this water to the mash and serve hot.
